Persons of Hopeful Piety - A History of St. Mark's Parish

The Archives Committee is pleased to announce the publication of St. Mark's Persons of Hopeful Piety, a comprehensive history of the Parish from 1790-2000. It includes the story of the role of the Reverend Robert Addison in establishing many of the churches in the Niagara Region as well as providing information about the early residents of Niagara.
The history of the church is followed through wars and depressions into the 21st century. It is illustrated with nearly 100 graphics including, as its cover, a drawing of St. Mark's dated 1820 by Colonel John Butler's daughter, Deborah Muirhead. Genealogists will discover a name index with reference to over 500 persons.
This 200 page book has a price of $25.00 for soft cover and $60.00 for hard cover (plus postage and handling). Books may be purchased through the Church office.
