Bells Restoration
In June 2005, St. Mark’s decided to have the Church bells restored. There
are at present nine bells, six of which were placed in the tower in 1877
and three in 1917.
The bells were manufactured by Meneely, West Troy, N.Y.
The firm of Meeks, Watson and Company from Georgetown, Ohio was hired to do the work on the bells and in October 2005, the bells were taken out of the tower. The parish has purchased a new larger Chime Keyboard, nine new bells and an automatic playing system..
